Dr Michael graduated from Monash University and has been part of our Centre since its establishment in 1995. As the founder of the clinic, he is highly respected for his clinical expertise, leadership, and long-standing commitment to patient care.
He has special interests in general medicine and skin cancer surgery and is well known for his experience in performing tongue-tie procedures for infants. Dr Michael is dedicated to providing thoughtful, high-quality care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Wijesundara graduated in 1999 from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka
She brings many years of clinical experience to her practice. She has a strong interest in general medicine, diabetes management, women’s health, children’s health, and mental health, and is passionate about providing holistic care for patients at every stage of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Wijesundara is married with two children and enjoys music and travelling. She is fluent in Sinhalese and is happy to consult with patients in either English or Sinhalese..
Dr. Peter Li has been part of our practice for over 10 years and is a highly experienced and trusted GP. He has a strong interest in general medicine and work-related health care, and he performs a range of minor surgical procedures, including skin cancer treatments and ingrown toenail surgery. Dr. Li is fluent in Mandarin and is happy to consult with patients in either English or Mandarin.
Dr Sam Gindy has many years of experience practicing medicine in both Australia and overseas. He has been a valued member of our team for over 10 years and provides comprehensive care across all areas of general medicine. Dr. Gindy is fluent in Arabic and is happy to consult with patients in either English or Arabic.
Dr. Soliman Ghobrial has been a valued member of our team for over 10 years. He practices all aspects of general medicine and has a special interest in the management of diabetes and chronic illness. Dr. Ghobrial is fluent in Arabic
Dr de Lanerolle completed his medical degree at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2004. He gained valuable experience at Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton before transitioning into General Practice.
He brings extensive clinical expertise and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care at Eastcare Medical Centre.
Dr de Lanerolle’s special interests include chronic disease management, paediatrics, men’s health, women’s health and antenatal care, travel medicine, and mental health. He also performs minor surgical procedures, including skin checks, iron infusions, and toenail surgery. He has completed postgraduate training in Child Health and Skin Cancer Medicine.
He is fluent in English and Sinhalese.
Dr. Panditharathna obtained his medical degree from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2005. He has worked as a registrar at Goulburn Valley Health and Bendigo Health.
Dr. Panditharathna has special interests in Psychiatry, Skin Cancer Medicine, Travel Medicine, Paediatrics, Men's Health, Geriatrics, Obstetrics, and Internal Medicine.
He has completed postgraduate training in Skin Cancer Medicine and Child Health. Additionally, he is an approved antenatal care and shared care provider for Monash Health.
